Description
The Corn Flower is a small annual flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Europe. It flowers from June until August. Flanders Field in Belgium, best known for the Red Poppy, is also home to the Blue Corn Flower. In France it is the symbol of the 11th of November 1918 Armistice and, as such, a common symbol for Veterans (especially the front line French soldier.)
